Frictionless License Activation is one of the biggest concerns of independent software vendors (ISV).
In the latest NetLicensing survey we asked 2728 software vendors and customers about license activation and validation flow and their expectations.
Below is the condensed result of this research.
- 90% customers prefer no or fewer sales contact on first product use.
- 78% users expect product activation within the next 5 minutes after license acquisition.
- 54% software vendors plan to address licensing automation within the next two years.
- 80% software vendors report high manual effort during the licenses activation.
